Is there an extra room in your house that you are still looking for a meaningful use for? Here are some tips that might help you decide how to use this room and what it could be used for.
Workroom
That you work manually, and don\’t use your home office? Nonsense. Here you can set up a desk on which to place your computer, and spend your relaxing moments playing video games or browsing the internet. Put a bookshelf or a display case with your collection against the wall, and a small sofa opposite the desk where you can relax. No one needs to know you\’re not working. It will be a room where no one can disturb you.

A room for rent
If it is a room largely separate from the rest of the house and you could use some extra money, you can rent it out. This solution is not for everyone, as some people are more protective of their privacy than others. However, if this doesn\’t bother you, you could rent it out to a student, for example, or someone who has just decided to become independent. You don\’t have to worry, because you choose the tenant and you set the rules. Just make sure you check the person properly to avoid any problems.
Home cinema
Although you\’re sure to have a TV in your living room, home cinema simply has its own charm. You can put a screen on one wall and a projector on the opposite wall. Add a row of comfortable chairs or sofas, good quality speakers for the walls, and black out the windows. This way you can host movie nights for family or friends on the weekends, and enjoy the movie more.

Meditation room
If you\’re the kind of person who finds meditation the best way to relax, there\’s no need to think twice. Paint the room with colours that make you feel good, put rugs on the floor, and comfortable cushions, place a table in the corner of the room with scented sticks, and your favourite statues, under which a meditation music player can sit.
